IMPORTANT NOTICE

General Disclaimer

AirTravis does not act as a principal but facilitates flight ticket reservations by arranging services with third-party vendors, including but not limited to airlines, travel consolidators, and other service providers (each a “Travel Supplier”). AirTravis provides access to these travel services solely as an intermediary and does not control the operations or policies of Travel Suppliers.

By using this Site, you acknowledge that the flight ticket prices offered by AirTravis are a result of negotiations between AirTravis and Travel Suppliers, which may include fees, taxes, and other charges. When booking a flight ticket through this Site, you authorize AirTravis to enter a contract on your behalf with Travel Suppliers for the total price displayed, including applicable charges.

AirTravis shall not be liable for any errors or inaccuracies on the Site or for the failure of any Travel Supplier, including airlines, to fulfill their services. AirTravis does not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for any products or services offered by third-party Travel Suppliers, nor does it guarantee reimbursement in the event of a Travel Supplier’s financial insolvency or inability to provide the booked service. In such cases, your recourse for refunds or compensation shall be directly with the Travel Supplier or any applicable insurance coverage.

AirTravis is not responsible for any changes in flight schedules, cancellations, overbooking, rerouting, strikes, weather disruptions, or government-imposed restrictions affecting travel reservations. Additionally, AirTravis is not liable for discrepancies in pricing, airline ticket conditions, or travel product depictions provided by Travel Suppliers, including but not limited to images, amenities, ratings, and discount offers.

AirTravis does not control currency exchange rates and shall not be held liable for final currency conversions or fluctuations in pricing for international travel products and services. Prices quoted in local currency serve as guidelines and are not binding on AirTravis or the Travel Suppliers.

Once a travel reservation is confirmed and payment is made, it may be non-refundable or subject to cancellation penalties imposed by the respective Travel Supplier. Once a ticket has been issued, additional penalties may apply for cancellations or refunds. AirTravis does not control the printed price on airline tickets, and actual ticket prices may differ from the fare collected due to bulk fare pricing or airline-specific policies.

Discounts and promotional offers may vary based on multiple factors, including airline selection, travel class, destination, seasonality, advance booking period, and flight availability.

AirTravis does not guarantee, endorse, or validate third-party advertisements displayed on our Site.

By booking through AirTravis, a contract may be formed between you and a Travel Supplier, which may include additional Terms & Conditions beyond those outlined here. It is your responsibility to review and adhere to any Travel Supplier’s policies, including payment terms, cancellation policies, and rules governing ticket usage. Some Travel Suppliers may require a credit card or cash deposit upon check-in to cover incidental expenses, which is separate from the payment made to AirTravis for booking your flight ticket.

Violation of any Travel Supplier’s policies may result in the cancellation of your reservation, denial of service, forfeiture of paid amounts, and potential charges incurred by AirTravis due to such violations.

PRICE MATCH PROMISE

At AirTravis, we want you to be confident that you’re getting the best deal on your flight booking.

That’s why, if you find a lower price (including taxes and fees) for the exact same flight itinerary on a major competitor’s website within 24 hours of booking with us, we will either refund the difference or, if you prefer, cancel your booking for a full refund.

That’s our Price Match Promise (“PMP”).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What does “the same itinerary” mean?

The same itinerary means that every detail of the booking must match, including:

  • Airline(s)
  • Flight number(s)
  • Itinerary and date(s)
  • Number of passengers
  • Seat type (e.g., economy, business class, first class)

What does “offered and available for booking” mean?

It means that the lower-priced itinerary must be live and available for booking by the general public at the time you contact us. Our customer service representatives must be able to verify the fare on the competitor’s website.

What is a “major competitor”?

For the purposes of PMP, a major competitor includes well-known Indian and global online travel agencies (OTAs) such as:

  • Expedia.in
  • Makemytrip.com
  • Goibibo.com
  • Yatra.com
  • Cleartrip.com
  • Cheapoair.com
  • Makemytrip.com

How do I request a Price Match?

To invoke the PMP, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at sales@airtravis.com within 24 hours of booking.
  2. Provide your AirTravis booking number and details of the lower-priced itinerary, including:
    • Airline(s)
    • Flight number(s)
    • Itinerary and date(s)
    • Number of passengers
    • Seat type
  3. Include proof, such as a screenshot or URL of the lower-priced itinerary from a competitor’s website.
  4. Our team will verify the price match request. If eligible, you can choose to either:
    • Receive a refund for the difference in fare while keeping your booking, OR
    • Cancel your booking for a full refund.

Are there any exceptions?

Yes, the PMP does not apply to:

  • Fares from membership-based or corporate discount websites.
  • Group, charter, rewards program, incentive, meeting, convention, or consolidator fares.
  • Discounted fares requiring coupons or promotions not available to the public.
  • Military, student, government, tour operator, bulk, or vacation package fares.
  • “Opaque” fares (where airline details are hidden until purchase).
  • Auction or bidding-based fares.
  • Pricing errors or technical glitches on competitor websites.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless AirTravis, its affiliates, partners, joint ventures, suppliers, and their respective officers, directors, managers, employees, and agents from any claims, demands, recoveries, losses, damages, fines, penalties, or other expenses, including reasonable legal and accounting fees.

BOOKING PROCESS

Definitions

To ensure clarity, the following terms apply:

  • Service Element – A standalone product or service available for booking, such as a flight, hotel, or car rental.
  • Travel Supplier – A third-party provider of one or more Service Elements (e.g., airlines, hotels, or car rental companies). AirTravis acts as a facilitator and does not operate as a principal service provider.
  • Booking – The process of negotiating and securing a Service Element from a Travel Supplier through AirTravis. A booking is confirmed only upon full payment and acceptance.

Booking Procedure

  1. Request & Quotation – Customers inquire about flights via phone or email, and AirTravis provides availability and pricing details.
  2. Payment Confirmation – A booking is confirmed only after full payment is received. Prices are subject to change until the payment is completed.
  3. Ticket Issuance – Once payment is verified, the ticket is issued, and a confirmation email with ticket details is sent to the customer.
  4. Final Contract – The contract is formed between the customer and the Travel Supplier (e.g., airline) when the ticket is issued.

Pricing, Taxes/Fees, and Payment

  • The total ticket price includes applicable taxes and fees unless otherwise specified. However, additional airline-imposed charges (e.g., fuel surcharges, baggage fees, seat selection, or other service fees) may apply and must be paid directly to the airline at check-in.
  • Prices do not cover optional services like travel insurance, rental car add-ons, hotel incidentals (such as phone usage or energy surcharges), or other non-included charges. Customers must settle these fees directly with the respective Travel Supplier.
  • Payment must be made in full using a valid credit or debit card at the time of booking. AirTravis accepts all major credit and debit cards with a verifiable billing address.
  • Customers authorize AirTravis and its authorized third-party payment processors to charge the provided card for the total booking amount.
  • If AirTravis cannot verify the payment before the travel date, the booking may be canceled.

Important Booking Terms

  • Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable – Bookings cannot be transferred to another individual, and refunds depend on the airline’s policies.
  • Travel Documents – A valid government-issued ID is required for domestic travel, and a passport/visa is mandatory for international travel. Customers must ensure compliance with all entry, exit, and transit requirements.
  • Airline Policies Apply – Flight schedules, baggage rules, cancellations, and modifications are subject to airline terms.
  • Fare Adjustments – If a pricing error occurs, AirTravis may cancel the booking or require the customer to pay the correct amount.

Liability & Customer Responsibilities

  • AirTravis is not liable for denied boarding, missed flights, or penalties due to incorrect travel documents.
  • Government-imposed entry/exit fees (if applicable) are the sole responsibility of the traveler.
  • All passengers in a single booking must travel together on the same itinerary.

We reserve the right to modify the booking process at any time, and such changes will take effect immediately upon update. Customers are encouraged to review the latest terms before booking.

Airlines Schedule Changes & Flight Cancellations

Airline Policy on Schedule Changes

All airlines have their own rules and policies regarding schedule changes, which are beyond our control.

Due to operational requirements, airlines may make changes to flight schedules, including:

  • Flight number changes
  • Time changes
  • Routing changes
  • Date changes
  • Cancellations

Cancellations may occur when an airline stops or temporarily suspends services to certain destinations or on specific days of the week.

Reasons for Cancellations or Schedule Changes

  • High travel seasons
  • Low travel demand
  • Airport terminal or gate changes
  • Fuel price fluctuations
  • Civil unrest
  • Airline bankruptcy

AirTravis does not assume liability for canceled flights, missed flights, or flights that do not connect due to airline schedule changes.

Our Policy on Schedule Changes

  • We make every attempt to notify customers of schedule changes.
  • Passengers should always reconfirm flights within 72 hours of departure by contacting the airline.

Airline-Initiated Schedule Changes

Airlines may make involuntary schedule changes due to:

  • Travel time adjustments
  • Layover changes
  • Travel date modifications
  • Flight number or terminal changes

If your airline initiates a change to your itinerary, you will not be charged for change fees or fare differences.

Low-Cost Carriers (LCCs)

If you booked a flight with a Low-Cost Carrier (LCC) (e.g., IndiGo, AirAsia), please contact the airline directly for any changes.

If you booked a combination of two one-way tickets and one of them is operated by an LCC:

  1. Contact the LCC to make changes.
  2. After confirming changes with the LCC, contact AirTravis if further changes are needed for the non-LCC portion of your trip.

Full-Service Carriers

If a full-service airline makes schedule changes, we will work closely with them to offer a new flight option closest to your original itinerary.

  • Some schedule changes require no action from you.
  • In some cases, you may need to confirm new flight details with us or the airline.

Before Departure

  • If an airline changes a flight within a 4-hour window, we will notify you via email.
  • If we cannot reach you, our email will serve as final notice.
  • Tickets will remain non-refundable for changes within 4 hours (unless specified otherwise by the airline).
  • Certain ticket types may remain non-refundable even if the change exceeds 4 hours.

AirTravis is not liable for missed flights or connections due to airline schedule changes.

Day of Departure

  • If you are already at the airport, speak with an airline agent at the check-in counter.
  • Severe weather or operational issues at your destination or connection airports may cause disruptions.
  • Always check the airline’s website and weather updates before departure.
  • For urgent assistance, contact the airline directly on the day of travel.

Customer Responsibilities

Reconfirm flights with the airline 24 to 72 hours before departure (especially when already traveling).
Check your email regularly for flight updates.
Respond promptly to any schedule change notifications.

Customer Notification Process

  • AirTravis will attempt to send at least 3 emails and make at least 1 phone call regarding schedule changes.
  • If you do not contact us or the airline before departure, you may:
    • Miss your flight
    • Lose the value of your ticket
    • Face travel delays of several days or weeks before an alternative flight is available

How We Assist You

Once you contact AirTravis:

  • We will work with the airline to find a solution.
  • If no suitable alternatives are available, a flight cancellation and refund may be processed (as per airline policy).
  • If an airline cannot rebook a customer, we will request a refund on their behalf.

Final Note: If a flight is canceled, AirTravis will attempt to contact the airline, find alternative flights, and discuss refund options as per the airline’s policies.

Overbooking of Flights

Airlines may overbook flights, meaning there is a small chance that a seat may not be available even if you have a confirmed reservation.

Airline Policy on Overbooking

Each airline has its own policies for handling overbooked flights. These rules are outlined in the airline’s Contract of Carriage.

If you are affected by overbooking:

  • Airlines may offer compensation (such as vouchers or alternative flights).
  • Passengers may be asked to voluntarily give up their seats in exchange for compensation.
  • If denied boarding involuntarily, the airline may provide alternative travel options or a refund (as per their policy).

What You Should Do

  • Check the airline’s overbooking policy before your trip.
  • Arrive early at the airport to reduce the risk of being denied boarding.
  • If you are involuntarily bumped, request details about compensation and rebooking options.

For further assistance, contact the airline directly or reach out to AirTravis.

Unaccompanied Minor Policy

Each airline has its own policies regarding unaccompanied minors traveling without an adult. These policies may vary, including age requirements, flight restrictions, and additional fees.

Important Guidelines:

Age Restrictions: The definition of an “unaccompanied minor” varies by airline. Check directly with the airline for specific age policies.
Flight Restrictions: Some airlines may only allow unaccompanied minors on non-stop flights and may prohibit them from traveling alone on connecting flights.
Group Travel: Anyone under 18 years of age is not considered an adult when traveling with other minors.
Additional Fees: Many airlines charge a service fee for unaccompanied minors, which must be paid at check-in.

What You Need to Do:

Contact the airline before booking to confirm their unaccompanied minor policies, restrictions, and fees.
Ensure the minor has all required travel documents and meets the airline’s requirements.
Arrange for drop-off and pick-up by an authorized adult as per airline policies.

For more information, contact the airline directly or reach out to AirTravis for assistance.

Visa and Entry Requirements

It is the passenger’s responsibility to verify and obtain the necessary travel documents (transit visa, entry visa, or other required permits) for all destinations and transit points.

Important Guidelines:

Check visa requirements for your destination and any transit countries before booking your flight.
Consult official sources, such as the embassy/consulate of the country you are visiting or transiting through.
Reliable travel information can be found at www.travel.state.gov or through your country’s government travel advisory.
Travel restrictions and visa policies may change, so always verify with the relevant authorities before departure.

AirTravis Disclaimer:
